Back to work

Aaron and I wandered around downtown today, which was nice, because we haven't been out and about in a while. Even though it's only downtown, we hadn't been there together in forever. Yesterday while doing laundry, I ran into my upstairs neighbor. We know each other by site, but had never officially met. She said, "I bet you hate living underneath us," because they have a 2-year old son who is constantly running and stomping all over the place, but I've grown used to it. After two years of living in this place, I'm finally used to it.

Now it's back to work for the weekend, which will be a nice change from last weekend, which was CRAZY busy. Since the holidays are over and the big cash giveaways are over, things will calm down a bit. I hear January and February and lame at work, which will give me some time to relax and catch my breath a bit.

The new queen size mattress is wonderful!! I love it, and even though I've yet to get a full night's sleep on it (I keep waking up in the middle of the night for some reason), I think it's great to have all that space to spread out and sleep with.


Isn't it beautiful? I've already ripped the new sheets for it! Not the fitted sheet, but the flat one, when I was taking it off for laundry. It got caught on the bed frame. Stupid metal bed frames. I'm not used to those things.

Anywho...Oh, I have a quick survey, 'cause I noticed this during my student teaching; when the students are learning to type on computer programs, it only has them put one space after the period. After you end a sentence, do you put one space, or two spaces? I space twice after a period. Is that weird? A thing of the past? Who knows. It feels weird to only put one space after a period. Anyway...stupid question, but I hope I get some answers out of you folks, my five die-hard readers! (You know who you are, Mom, Vegas, Shirley, Randy, and Jill!)
